People want to partner with us

We work with over 2,000 employers, from global brands to local SMEs, to co-design skills solutions, develop talent pipelines and drive productivity through applied research and innovation.

Our partners include Bouygues UK, Lidl, Network Rail, Unilever, Mace, Sellafield and London Underground. We work with more than 60 NHS Trusts across London and the South East. And we support 2,400+ businesses each year to find the skilled workforce they need for growth.

As London's first integrated education group, we offer something no single institution can: a connected pathway from school-age learners through to postgraduate talent, apprentices and experienced professionals - all through one partnership.

What we offer

- Apprenticeships

We deliver 40+ apprenticeship standards from Levels 2–7 for over 900 employers. Our apprenticeships are nationally recognised for quality, and our degree apprentices combine academic study with real work, so they contribute from day one.

- Talent pipelines

Our graduates earn among the highest starting salaries of London's modern universities. We proactively work with partners to ensure our students develop the knowledge, skills and behaviours employers need - now and in the future.

- Placements and work experience

Give the future workforce valuable skills and experience in real-world settings. We're always looking for employers to offer students placements, work experience, internships and volunteering opportunities. It's a chance to spot emerging talent, bring fresh perspectives into your organisation and shape the skills pipeline you'll draw from in the future.

- Workforce development

From short courses to professional qualifications, we help organisations upskill their teams in priority areas including health, construction, digital, green skills and leadership.

- Research and innovation

We focus on research that delivers real-world impact. With 68% of our research rated world-leading or internationally excellent, and annual research and enterprise income of £22 million, we help businesses solve problems and bring innovations to market. We've supported over 1,500 organisations to do exactly that.

- Business growth

Our Help to Grow programme has developed 400+ small business leaders since 2021. London South Bank University Group-founded startups raised £14 million in 2023/24, and we continue to support 60+ businesses through our enterprise programmes.

Expertise aligned to growth

Our strengths map directly to the sectors driving the UK economy: Advanced Manufacturing, Creative Industries, Clean Energy, Digital and Technologies, Life Sciences, Health, Professional and Business Services and Construction.

We have deep expertise in biomedical science, energy and green skills, AI and automation, advanced materials and sustainable construction. And through partnerships like our work with HydroStar Europe on industrial-scale green hydrogen and Edinburgh Instruments on sustainable energy storage, we're helping businesses lead the transition to net zero.

We educate and train more than one-fifth of all new nurses in London. The Lee Marley Academy at London South Bank Technical College is training the next generation of bricklayers. Whatever your sector, we can connect you to the talent and expertise you need.

A single front door

Through our strategy, we're making it easier than ever to work with us. We're creating a single front door for employers and partners - one point of contact, one relationship, access to the full breadth of our Group.

Whether you're a large employer looking for a strategic skills partner or an SME seeking practical support, we'll work with you to find the right solution.

Let's connect

Connect your organisation to the talent and expertise it needs. We want to be your partner of choice. Whether you're looking to recruit apprentices, develop your workforce, collaborate on research or co-design new solutions - we're ready to work with you.
